Christoffel® 3D

The 3D is the third offspring in the Christoffel^® series. Similarly to its brothers: I-II-III-IV and the XL this transport box provides protection for works of art while being transported for exhibition, restoration or to new premises. A special feature in relation to the other boxes is that three-dimensional works of art and sculptures can be transported in the Christoffel^® 3D. The Christoffel^® 3D completely meets the stringent requirements for the transportation of works of art.

Transport

Christoffel^® 3D protects works of art and sculptures against climatological and mechanical influences. The dimensions of the box take account of the standard transportation size of 1200 mm. The dust-resistant and splash-proof FB20 locking system provides the best protection for all your transported objects and ensures rapid assembly and disassembly on arrival and departure, without tools. To prevent damage the locking system does not contain any protruding parts. It is impossible for unauthorised persons to open the Christoffel^® 3D due to the locking system with locking pins that secure the locks.

Freedom in the choice of pressure points and fastening points

Covering the object with the 3D box takes place in layers. Firstly, the base panel is placed. Per layer four walls are placed with a fastening system on the interior. This system consists of height and length adjustable arms fitted with universal joints. This gives a great degree of freedom in the selection of pressure points and fastening points. More arms can be fitted depending on the weight of the object. The arms are covered with foam tubes that are fitted with a sleeve made of felt. The box is ready for transportation when the lid has been fitted.
